NEW HOUSE PLANTS AND A DOOR KNOB

Yesterday I did some planting of some new house plants I've had for awhile, you know the ones you buy at the grocery store at 4" tall. I also did some replanting of some much needed root bound plants. I am always on the look out for different/fun items to use as planters. I had this vintage tea kettle kicking around so I decided it would make a great planter. I banged a few holes in the bottom with a hammer and a large screw, and used an old plate to sit on. Do you notice the old door knob? I think this is a great touch to the plant. I also put a little bird in there.
I love the little 4" plants for around $3.00. I tend to them until they are a little bigger, then I find a planter for it.
My vignette has some apples and a wooden duck.
Some red wooden kitchen utensils and a small milk bottle.
Thanks for stopping by.
