Welcome to my "Heart of the Home Party" I would like to thank Shelia from Note Songs for hosting this party. Go
here if you would like to see more Heart of the Home posts, I can't wait to get there.
This is the "heart" of my home, my kitchen. (Please, don't mind any dust bunnies you may see, I've been away for a few days.) Although my kitchen is small it is my most favorite place to decorate and it's the space that keeps my most favorite collection of things, (antique kitchen utensils and such.) The antique table was my Nana Edson's. The chairs belonged to my husband's mother.
I love to find different and unusal planters for my plants.
I have a small collection of milk bottles. I love old boxes as well.
Here are some of my antique kitchen utensil collection. I have recently purchased two herb drying hangers that I will be putting up soon. I thought I would use those to hang some of my utensils from, (I need to make room for more). An old jar full of cookie cutters, my favorite.
Utensils, and such. An antique mixer with a plant in the bowl.
My pantry cubboard. My great Aunt's phone.
More fun things....
Burlap coffee and potato sacks over the door.
I love the heart of my home, where is the heart of your home.
Thanks for stopping by.
Michele

I enjoyed seeing your collections. I have numerous "repurposed vintage wooden boxes" myself! If you search for that, you'll see the post. I'm dropping by from the Note Songs party. I hope you'll come see our kitchens at Atticmag - three for one!

Hi Michele,
I love your kitchen. My favorite uncle delivered milk, and those bottles brought back some happy memories.
Please come and check out my book giveaways.

your kitchen is just so welcoming and warm...I love it :) is that a cow way up on the top of a cabinet :)
The heart of my home must be my living room. I have most of my collections in there (but I'm running out of room when I find more to add to my collections), I spend most of my time there. I even eat in the living room.
I love your milk bottle collection.
Hi Michele,
I think this is the sweetest, coziest kitchen! Love your special little vignettes and collections!
A warm heart of your home :)
Kindly, ldh

Hi Michele, I received one of your 5 inch squares in the swap with Jillayne. I love it. It will look beautiful in my sewing room along with the other five inch squares. To see the one I received you can go over to A fine Seam. I did a guest post on Jill's blog. Thanks again. Lucille.
Your kitchen is so much fun! So many wonderful and interesting treasures to see. I would love to visit it in person and just take in all of the sights. laurie
