A FEW CHANGES IN MY STUDIO 2014 WHERE BLOGGERS CREATE

Welcome to my studio, my peaceful place.
For several years now I have joined Karen at My Dessert Cottage for an annual WHERE BLOGGERS CREATE party.
You can see what my studio looked like last year here, not a whole lot has changed but some small details have.

I join in a lot of ATC swaps, here are the ATC'S I have received from many fantastic artists.
I use an antique sewing cabinet drawer, just the perfect size and besides that, I LOVE these wooden drawers.

My Figgy gave this window to me for Mother's Day, she knows just what I love!

I love vintage wooden rocking horses and vintage children books.

A basket full of trims, I love this stuff!!

The vintage picture of the dancer is a favorite piece of mine.
When I was a little girl I had two of these in my room, LOVE!!!

I love using large lamp shades for storage.

My favorite print of all times.

STASH

All of the items hanging from my ribbon shelf are tags and mixed media books I have received from swap partners, I keep every single one and I treasure them all.

A view from the door.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope you enjoyed the tour.

WEDDING BLISS

A wedding bliss package from Maggie, you can visit her here.
Maggie and I were partnered up at Blissful Art Group.

Wedding whites, creams and such was the theme.
You can see the Wedding bundle I sent to Maggie here
I just love these darling cutouts of brides wrapped with vintage trims and lace.

Make a homemade card, a tag or ATC and a small amount of stash.
I will enjoy all of my goodies, thanks again Maggie.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a sunshine day.

JUNK SALE FINDS

I really felt like I made a good score while on my last trip out junking.
The fun little tin tea cups were 10. each.
The silver little picture frames were 50. for five of them.
The bling and the gold trim were great finds.

These were in a glass jar for $6, very vintage pearl buttons in peach, antique ivory and a few pinks.
I am sure I will use these often in my work.

These off white earrings are actually rubber, so awesome!

This lady was all glammed up and ready to go, what fun!
Thanks for stopping by.

RED, WHITE & BLUE BUNDLE

Happy 4TH of July everyone!
I want to share my Red, White & Blue bundle I created for a swap partner.
This tag is made using a greeting card, chipboard letters, a vintage doily, flowers, bling and a blue glass marble along with a red checker.
I thought all items were fitting for a 4th of July celebration...

The greeting card I am sending along is a photograph I took awhile back of a blue jay.
I've added some goodies in an organza bag, some additional tags and some vintage trims for my swap partner to use.

I again used my brown paper bag multi envelope.
The blue jay card is in the top pocket, the goodies are in the middle pocket and I tucked the tag in the pocket in the front (pocket made by wrapping trim around the piece, hence-making a pocket)

I just love creating these bundles.
I hope you and your family enjoy your long holiday weekend.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
