I LOVE VINTAGE LACE
I am crazy for vintage lace and trims. I have a very extensive collection (if I do say). I love to shop the rummage sales (best place to find vintage lace and trims) yard sales, flea markets, our local auction house (this is where I have gotten boxes FULL) and more.
I also LOVE threads, sewing notions and goodies like that.
I also love trims from wedding dresses and prom dresses, etc.
I love vintage rick rack, too.
I create alot of items using my vintage lace and trims. My collection of Toby's Tweets (BIRDS) are all embellished with vintage lace and trims. See this post for more Tweets. I love to make collage items using trims and lace. I stain some of my vintage trims with coffee, tea and dyes, giving them a worn and tattered look.
I also love vintage doilys and linens, don't you??

Hello to you two! Thanks so much for joining me for Pearls and Lace Thursday and my Giveaway! I'm so excited! I will be counting and checking all the entries (almost feel like Santa!), and posting the winner next Thursday. Your post is sooo pretty!!! I love that you love the things I do...laces and pearls...ahhhhh, almost as good as some Calgon!
