LOTS OF ICE

We live on the Richelieu passage on Lake Champlain.
A week or so ago the passage was frozen all the way across, this is what the wind will do to the ice all in one afternoon.

These were clear pieces of ice, amazing hah?

This piled up a few hundred yards from our home.

Before to long it was frozen again!
The miracle of nature.
Thanks for stopping by.
Michele

Fabulous photos... especially the one of the clear ice and also the one where the ice piled up in those lovely shards. Brrrrr.... cold just looking at them. When do you start to warm up in your area?

beautiful photos; I found some thick, clear ice here on the farm and it was amazing! I've never seen that before this winter.
