DRESS OF PINECONES

MY DRESS OF PINECONES
I have linked up to a party over at No Mininimalist Here. Thanks Sherry for hosting the party!!
Head on over there for tons of holiday inspiration and home decor, galore... I have also linked up to several other linky holiday parties, see list below. I would also like to thank all of those hosts as well.
I have this dressform I purchased several weeks ago (have wanted one for ages) and will attempt to dress it up on all holidays and any other occassion that I can think of.
There is a post here of it dressed for Harvest.
My attempt is to not purchase anything, but use what I have by way of vintage tablecloths, doilies and other miscellaneous materials. With the focus on a torn and tattered kind of look. Well....I failed on the holiday materials, specially the pinecone piece. This materials goes so well in my home. I just had to have it. Do you notice the necklace of antique keys?
This bow is made from some ribbon I had (I followed my rule here) the feathers I purchased at JoAnn's awhile back. These feathers line the side of the dress. It also has a large sash of red and green tule. The top is a swag of vine and pinecones and some pipberries.
If you would like to see more decorations in my home you can go to this post here and here.
I will be also linking up on Friday to the following linky parties. Please go on over to find more holiday inspiration. If you are looking for a decorating idea you won't be dissapointed looking around at these places:
Thanks for stopping by.
