I used most of the items I intended to use. I used an antique photograph holder. This is sitting on a wooden plate holder. I am calling it "THE WITCHES".
I used some items I purchased at Michael's. I had to embellish most of them with glitter, I can't help myself.
I used some of Minyele's favorite pip berries with the rusty stars. Do you notice the antique key?? I used some left over Halloween items from years past.

It feels good to create for ourselves for a change.
Kits will include lots of goodies all ready to go for your projects. If you like to create shabby chic, rustic vintage, praire, cowgirl theme projects with grunged items, then I have done most of the work for you.

I have been creating some Halloween items last few days, you can see those in earlier posts here. My daughter was just saying to me last week that we should start creating things for ourselves. Why she says that you ask...we used to own and operate a craft shop on the island we live on for three years. We always used to mention to each other that we never craft for ourselves nor did we use the crafts we made in our own homes. Well she is right, it is time to make some fun things using some of the items we use while making other projects that others enjoy. These items I have set aside to make Minyele a Halloween item (Halloween is her favorite time of year) It is going to be a surprise for her, don't tell her will you???
Some of the items are an antique photograph holder, skulls, spiders. A fantastic photograph of a family.
Vintage lace and trims will adourn the item. Vintage keys and tassles as well. Glitter, feathers and even bingo cards. Some people love bingo, do you??

I was very busy today making SPOOKY ANCESTOR HALLOWEEN GARLANDS. I managed to make four this afternoon.
I used copies of images from my personal collection. These garlands were inspired by Minyele for my 50th birthday party. Minyele invited all the ancestors and non related friends. I copied the idea and made it a Halloween
theme.
I added birds, owls and boney people to the mix.
I had fun making the garland. I plan to put a few in my shop on etsy, go here if your interested.
Some of the birds have glittered witch's hats and bowties.
I have been inspired to do some fall decorating around the house as well. My favorite item to decorate, my rusty olde truck!!

WE VISITED AN ANTIQUE STORE, ITEMS IN ANITIQUE STORES MAKE FOR GOOD PHOTOS, I LOVE THESE VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE ITEMS.

I also love local fresh pressed apple cider and mulling spices on the stove top.
This fall display will be going up shortly, this scarecrow meets everyone as they approach the house.
I will be going shortly to our local apple orchard here on the Island. I'll be picking fresh apples for candied apples. I'll be attending our farmer's market tomorrow with fudge and the fun apples.
