PARTY, PARTY, PARTY
Fall is my favorite time of year....So I have joined a few blog party's to celebrate the season. Blog party's are so much fun. I get to create/craft things (I love to do this) with a Halloween/Fall theme. I get to post my items on my blog for all of my family and friends to see what I am up to, and also a blog post for my followers (they like to see what I am up to as well) This party I have joined is called; "PUMPKIN PARTY" Anyone with a blog can join the party, go here if you want to join in. On Thursday October 28th after you visit me here you can go here to see what everyone else did for pumpkin decorations and other fun Halloween/Fall things. I will be going to look at all the posts myself. Isn't this picture just the sweetest!!!
The other blog party I have joined is called; "TEA PARTY UNDER A HALLOWEEN MOON". Anyone with a blog can go on over and join in the party fun, click here to join. On October 23rd you can go here to see what everyone else is doing for a tea party. This blog party will be a load of fun. I am not sure what I will be doing for either party yet, my thinking cap is on. Be sure to come back to see what I will be up to next.

OUR OWN CRAFTED ITEMS
Well, I have crafted something for ourselves...this is for Minyele. I posted about this earlier. I hope she likes it. I used most of the items I intended to use. I used an antique photograph holder. This is sitting on a wooden plate holder. I am calling it "THE WITCHES".
I used some items I purchased at Michael's. I had to embellish most of them with glitter, I can't help myself.
I used some of Minyele's favorite pip berries with the rusty stars. Do you notice the antique key?? I used some left over Halloween items from years past.

VINTAGE INSPIRATION FRIDAY #4
Welcome to my Vintage Inspiration Friday #4. I am inspired by fall, just the thought of fall makes me feel wonderful. I love the earth colors, the reds, oranges, pumpkins, hay bales, candles, cozy days, etc.
This is a vingette on our table as you enter the porch leading up to the door of the house. This table is always decorated with something. I have been creating some Halloween items last few days, you can see those in earlier posts here. My daughter was just saying to me last week that we should start creating things for ourselves. Why she says that you ask...we used to own and operate a craft shop on the island we live on for three years. We always used to mention to each other that we never craft for ourselves nor did we use the crafts we made in our own homes. Well she is right, it is time to make some fun things using some of the items we use while making other projects that others enjoy. These items I have set aside to make Minyele a Halloween item (Halloween is her favorite time of year) It is going to be a surprise for her, don't tell her will you???

AUTUMN ART PARTY
Welcome to the Autumn Art Party. The party is hosted by French Cupboard, go to see more here.
Thanks French Cupboard for hosting. I can't wait to see what others have been up to.
I've been busy and inspired by the fall weather that has come all to quickly. Fall is in the air and Halloween will be here soon. I have created this piece using a very old antique book cover. I will be sending this item off very soon for a swap I have entered.
I was very busy today making SPOOKY ANCESTOR HALLOWEEN GARLANDS. I managed to make four this afternoon.
I used copies of images from my personal collection. These garlands were inspired by Minyele for my 50th birthday party. Minyele invited all the ancestors and non related friends. I copied the idea and made it a Halloween
theme.
I added birds, owls and boney people to the mix. I had fun making the garland. I plan to put a few in my shop on etsy, go here if your interested.

VINTAGE INSPIRATION FRIDAY
Welcome to Vintage Inspiration Friday. I would like to thank Debra over at Common Ground for hosting the party. Go here to see what inspires others this Friday. My vintage inspiration for the fall season, or any other season for that matter is my rusty olde truck. I purchased this truck last year at our local auction house. I decorate it every chance I get. Here is my rusty olde truck vignette for the fall season (my favorite time of year). I also love local fresh pressed apple cider and mulling spices on the stove top.

DOG DAYS!!
Well, we spent the day at the Shelburne Goes To The Dogs event. We brought along our EmmaBeanDesigns dog bandanas and dog treats. We had a fantastic day with family and friends. This little one here in the tote bag is little Chole, she was our model for the day. Willy would of been modeling this bandana if he would of been able to attend the event.
Here is Minyele and her friends.
Part of our booth, see Chole..
This dog wins in my heart for, most beautiful!!
This dog is taking a much needed nap.
This is Bob, say hello Bob...
This dog wins my DIVA award, she was so sweet and so full of it. She will be wearing some of our bandanas.
This big guy here was walking in the parade.
This little one was having a bit of a frightful time, but he was great all the same.
Be sure to stop by http://emmabeandesigns.blogspot.com to say hello to Emmabean our inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by.
