I really can't say I am a morning person, but I can say I do love that time of day, sitting down with a good cup of coffee.
I purchase my coffee beans and grind them each morning per cup, it is the freshest way to go.
I also love storing my coffee beans in one of my largest bell glass jars, I love the looks of the beans in the jar sitting on the counter.

I have my faithful Keurig machine. But I have been thinking of buying a french press.
I have to admit that I am a tea person rather than a coffee person. But I can certainly relate to sitting down with a nice hot cuppa and a good book, to just relax for a while.
i thought i was the only one who did a cup at a time, grinding the beans for each cup! there is nothing on this planet like the smell of a fresh cup of good coffee! i was a nurse for over 30 yrs and that is where my coffee drinking began, although almost ever floor of every hospital has horrible coffee! aloha, angi in hana
My husband loves to grind his coffee. I love the smell of it, but have never gotten into drinking coffee. I think I'm afraid if I start, I won't stop (I'm already addicted to Coke Zero). Love that little birdie on the scale. Oh, and love the purple tin egg in your header photo. I had one of those when I was a kid!
I've never aquired a taste for coffee, but luv the smell! Absolutely luv your vintage scale and your sweet bird nesting on top.
