NOT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART
I am silly for Halloween creations!
I have been busy having much fun in my craft room, good thing I can entertain myself I guess!
I joined in on "NOT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART" matchbox swap at Vintage Dragonfly
The requirements were to create four items in addition to the matchbox for our swap partner, I was up to the task.
This tag I created using images I purchased from Hidden Vintage Studio
I just love the images of the children.
This tag I included.
Awhile ago I created a few of these little bird nests using mini vine wreaths. This was included in my swap package.
I made this flower using scraps on my work table and a little glitter. I included this in my package as well.
Inside the matchbox are Halloween theme goodies mostly to create with. My swap buddy will find an orange painted acorn (you can see a few here) with a face, cute I think
This is the matchbox. I have used this image (someones grammie) several times through out the years, she dresses up real good I think...
As you can see I have really been enjoying myself lately.
Have you been creating some Halloween goodies?
Thanks for stopping by.

ALTERED FLOWER GARDEN
Using a very old leather cover from a bible (bible was not savable) and an image from a vintage greeting card printed on a linen dinner napkin, I created this collage "Flower Garden".
The collage has many different items; vintage lace and trims, applique (some has been painted and glittered), bling, tiny pine cones, paper flowers, dried roses and other dried flower items.
Butterflies, dragonflies and a wooden mouse.
I really love how this turned out.

OUR FIRST FALL FESTIVAL OF THE SEASON
A few weeks ago Lil O, her mommy and Nana went to our first fall festival at Shelburne Farms.
What a fun time we had. Lil O drove a big tractor, sat on the biggest hay bales ever, listened to a band (she just loves this) and played in plastic swimming pools filled with corn kernels.
We all enjoy fall so much and love attending the fall parties.
Thanks for stopping by.

MORE HALLOWEEN CREATIONS
I have been quite busy with ghost, gobblins, spiders and such.
I love creating for Halloween and have joined in several swaps this season so I can create until my hearts content, and that it is....
Here are three tags, last one is for our swap hostess over at Roses On My Table the theme is Happy Haunting.
Here are three ATC'S I created for ArtJoyStuff, the theme is "Pretty Little Witch"
This trick or treater I created for my Figgy.
I used images I purchased from Hidden Vintage Studio
Sorry, the photo is not very good, sometimes one just can't get a good photo no matter what we do!!
Random tags.
Have you created anything for Halloween?
Thanks for stopping by.

TREE GONE
Back a few months ago we had a very large limb fall from this pine tree, nearly hitting the house and/or garage. Mr Nook says, time for this tree to go!
The picture really does not show how tall this tree is, prehistoric size actually.
This is the after picture.
It is amazing how much more light filters into the house not to talk about the heat from the sun.
Thanks tree man.
Thanks for stopping by.
