BIRD ATC'S, SPRING WILL BE COMING I JUST KNOW IT...

Three ATC'S done for MAMA swap group.

It felt really good to think birds and spring indeed.

Today we have missed a major Nor'easter storm, thank goodness.  We are so ready for spring here on the lake.  The lake is still covered with ice so this has to get melting soon.

This is a gift for our hostess Terri.  I hope she likes it.

VINTAGE PAPER ONLY PLEASE!

I have received my three Vintage Papers Only ATC"S from a swap over at ArtJoyStuff

Thanks to everyone for playing and a special thanks to Kimberly for being our hostess.

Kimberly sent along the charm of the lady and a tiny bird, a special surprise for sure!

The guidelines for this swap was; only vintage papers allowed, this was a fun swap indeed.

I so do love the layered use of the vintage wallpaper and I do believe that the flowers are made from vintage sheet music and book pages.

I am collecting/hoarding all of my ATC'S (artist trading cards)  I really do love them all.

One of these days I will do a post of all of them, amazing little pieces of artwork from all over the country.

ALTERED EASTER EGG CARTON

This is the top of a six count egg carton I altered for a swap partner.

I actually used one of the tags I created a few weeks ago, you can see that post here

The tag fit rather nicely on the top of the carton that I painted metallic purple.

The carton is full of goodies, buttons, bling, ribbons, stick pin and much more.

I also included this organza bag filled with more goodies that would not fit into the egg carton.

It is the second time I have altered an egg carton, it is a lot of fun.

VINTAGE PAPERS USED

I created these ATC'S for a swap over at ArtJoyStuff

The theme for these are vintage papers.

Only using vintage papers we were to create three of these.

Well I do have quite a stash of vintage papers, I chose to use book pages as the back ground paper and fussy cutting of vintage greeting cards.  

The little children and creatures are from a book I have had for ages, very worn and tattered so it was time to create something with the pages.

I made some birds and butterflies using my punches and vintage music sheets.
