LEAF PEEPING IN VERMONT

Leaf peeping in Vermont is really, really something to do!
Every year we love to get together with family and friends for a few outings of leaf peeping.
This trip here was with Cindy and Carl.
The pumpkins here were at a roadside stand (I love stopping at these places) where I purchased some gourds for decorating and the gals were nice enough to offer cider donuts and apple cider, yummy!

Playing around in a corn field, fun stuff!!
(Cindy & Carl)

Mr. Nook likes to play around, too.

Covered bridge on the way to Montgomery, VT

Stunning!

I just love the moss growing on this bridge.
The forest is a great place for photographs.
We will be getting together with friends next weekend for more leaf peeping and exploring so stay tuned.
Thanks for stopping by.

SCARY CATS, BATS AND WITCHES HATS

I've been playing with spooky things and having a blast.
I just love creating for Halloween.  I don't know what it is about it, really doesn't matter much I guess, I just have FUN!
I wanted to share with you four tags I created for a swap.
The children are actually behind a plastic picture frame along with the ticket on this tag.

The girl is behind a picture frame but the boy is on the front of it creating a 3D effect.

The background is a dinner napkin, these I purchased on clearance last year and put them away.  I was more than delighted to see them because I forgot about them.
Lots of glitter on this one.

The butterflies clipped on the tags will go on the back in a pocket that I will create by tying lace around the tag, this was a requirement for the swap.
One of the tags I will give to the hostess of the swap, Marylou from Roses on my Table.
Thanks for stopping by.

MAIL ART

This is my first time making mail art envelopes.
I joined a swap over at Bliss Angles.
We were put into groups of four so here are the three envelopes I created.
These are large size envelopes of 5 3/4 x 8 3/4.
I used a thick piece of card stock nearly the size of the front of the envelope,  and added to that papers and cutouts and such that I modge podged onto it.  I then sewed this onto the envelope.
The backs coll aged as well.
I do have the addresses covered over with a small piece of paper doily, you can see that here in the pictures.  I should of taken the picture before I added the names and addresses, sorry!

These were great fun creating.
I can't wait to see what mail art I receive.
Do you ever get any mail art?
Thanks for stopping by.

FRESH FALL FLOWERS

Don't you just love fresh cut flowers?
Starting in the fall I treat myself every couple of weeks to fresh cut flowers continuing through Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My favorite time of year is fall, I love the colors and every single thing about it.
You can usually find some pretty good deals on flowers in your local grocery store.
Go ahead, treat yourself...
