ALTERED CLOTHES PIN CLIPBOARD TAG

Good morning friends.
I wanted to share with you my latest swap project, Altered Clothes Pin Clipboard Tags.
These are for a swap over at Altered Papers for my swap partner Evelyn.
The larger tag is actually the clipboard and what holds the tags onto the clipboard is an altered clothes pin, sort of clever don't you think?

The vintage trim on the bottom part of the large tag is actually a pocket.
The small tag is actually a tiny brown bag filled with more tags.
The clothes pin has some bling and wooden letter beads.

This is the second tag.
This clothes pin I painted with a mix of pink and green glitter paint and finished off with paper flowers.

Thanks for stopping by.

ALTERED CAN

This is a can I altered for a swap at Altered Papers.
My partner is Fran.

Fran loves primitive.
The can is for her studio to hold pencils, and such.

Have you considered using cans you are ready to throw away/recycle as useful containers?

LIL O IS FISHING

Lil O is on her first day of fishing with her Papa, Mommie and Nana.
Here is Papa getting everything ready.
The water is high her on Lake Champlain, not much beach right yet.

Lil O has not been on the beach sense last year and she doesn't remember so basically this is the first time.   She is amazed of course.

She just loves here Hello Kitty boots, for sure!

Here are our worms, no interest here, thank goodness.

Sitting with her Papa here.

Mommie joins in on the fishing, too.

After we caught our first fish Olivia grabbed her own pole, so smart this lil one

Here she is on Papa's big boat.  Will be going for a ride when the water warms up some.
Lil O had a great day playing on the boat and fishing on the beach.

Thanks for stopping by.

SUMMER PORCH

Our screened summer porch is ready for the season.
We love this space so much and spend much time here.
A bowl of ornies from long ago.

At this time of year I bring all of my house plants out onto the porch where they can get good light.

This is a brass dust pan my father in law made some many years ago, he was always thinking.

This is a wooden refrigerator, love it.

I really love creating the vignettes for this space.

I made this tree.  It has several bird nests and a few hornet nests.

Here is where Mr. Nook and I sit

Do you have a summer space you love to hang out in?
Thanks for stopping by.

NEEDLE WORK

A few weeks ago Figgy and I went to a few yard sales.
Out front near the road were several boxes with the words "Free".
Well I hardly never walk past these boxes without taking a quick peek, one never knows.
This time it payed off, take a look at all of these needle work pieces, yup, they were all free.
There are more, I will post these at another time.

I really have no use for these items and would like to sell them to any of you that are interested.
Please do email me and I will get back to you on details, dimensions and pricing and such.
I put these needle works in a box and loaded into my car thinking my followers may just love to have them...

BEATRIX POTTER BOOK

Several weeks ago I joined in a Beatrix Potter Book swap over at Altered Paper Group.
Eight of us were to create eight pages using  Beatrix Potter and any of her books as our theme for the pages.
All eight pages I created you can see here
Our hostess Mercedes (you can visit her here) received all of the pages, swapped them out and created the front and back covers of the books for each of us.
Here is the front and back covers and the beautiful lace and trims attached to the rings that hold the pages/book together.
I have thanked Mercedes several times, thanks again Mercedes!

These are the other pages in the book.
Angelia and Carol

These pages were created by Elysia and Karla

These pages were created by (first page) Sheng, Mercedes and finally myself.

As you all know I do join in many swaps through many different groups.
This swap was one of the best I have created for, I think all of the artist's really put their best work into the pages.  Thanks to all who played along!
Thanks for stopping by.

ALTERED MOUSE TRAP

Have you ever altered a mouse trap?
Well, it is a first for me.
Actually it is a magnet as well, the spring on the bottom will hold papers if you put it on your fridge perhaps.

On the mouse trap I used some of my dried mini roses, I love these.
I also have some plant moss and a few mini pine cones.
You know me, I love using outdoor items along with a very few store bought items.

Thanks for stopping by.
